Desperatly need some legal advice or help

I really need your help, I am booked to get married at The Manor House Hotel in Newlands Corner.... so the history is I viewed it, in October 2014 loved the grounds, paid extra for outdoor wedding, loved the staff who would be managing my wedding. In March I found out when I paid my £500 deposit in October it was in fact to an administration company and not the hotel as they were in administration yet nobody told me at time of booking (wouldn't of booked otherwise). Since then it has been sold to the new co-owners privately. Since the new owners have come they have sacked all original staff, ripped up all the grounds (it made local press and other brides have cancelled) I have had 2 wedding co-ordinators, 1 is rumoured to have been sacked for credit card fraud (although I cant prove this rumour yet) the new one hasn't responded to my 4 x emails over the last 2 weeks. The latest reviews on tripadvisor arenow terrible, about all aspects of the hotel. I still haven't received my menus, hotel prices have risen and the whole place has just become run down and service shocking.
So obviously I want to cancel and change venue 11 weeks before my wedding which is stressful enough (but I have found somewhere believe it or not) but my question is do I have grounds to claim back my deposit. Its a lot of money to lose to a place that is no longer as described when I booked, service is not the same, surely I have some statutary rights in all this. I am pulling my hair out anyone please HELP!!!!
